Use ROS control to manipulate the Franka robot arm to control a ping-pong ball in order to follow a desired trajectory on a balanced board.

Jack in the Box

Dynamics | Python | Simulation

This project is a physical simulation of a jack inside the box. The box is shaken under an external force. The jack inside the box will then fall due to gravity, hit the box, and bounce back.

Covid Terminator

This project is to monitor whether people follow the mask mandate and keep the social distancing using deep learning algorithms and depth camera.

Motion Retargeting

Autoencoder | ROS MoveIt | Myo Armband

This project is to retarget/predict robot motion by monitoring human motion, including EMG and IMU signal, acquired from two Myo armbands wearing on forearm and upper arm.  A  typical variational autoencoder model is used.
